Beyond the Picture Plane

Shoreline, WA. – Shoreline Public Art presents “Beyond the Picture Plane”, opens on the Third Floor of Shoreline City Hall .
This exhibition combines original artwork by 18 artists with Augmented Reality created by or in collaboration with the artists. The artworks can be seen and explored by viewing the artwork through provided tablets on site.

Feature artists include Kim Rose Adams, Kimi Boylan, Reginald Brooks, Miguel Edwards, David Francis, Ray C. Freeman III, Jeff Mihalyo, Xavier Lopez, Jr., Kelly Lyles, Stephen Rock, Ginny Ruffner, and J. ‘fluffy’ Shagam.

The Paintings of Jeff Mihalyo

Jeff Mihalyo returns to Black Lab Gallery with a an exhibit of paintings in his trademark surrealist style that he first presented at the gallery in 2001.
The exhibit presents original paintings that span 17 years in which the artist examines world and philosophical issues through a multifaceted system of symbolic and narrative compositions.

Abstract paintings by Jeff Mihalyo

Jeff Mihalyo presents his second solo exhibit of abstract works at Dendroica Gallery. He presents variations of his mark-making exploration with color and gesture on canvas and paper. The artworks are the result of a six year practice intended to counterbalance the artists propensity for representationalism.
